Both of our custom closet systems are cut to your exact wall width from 3/4" EGGER melamine in our North Miami Beach shop. The difference is how the closet organizer is held up. Here is how to choose the right closet system for your walk-in or reach-in closet.

Wall-mounted closet systems

A wall-mounted closet hangs on rails screwed into the wall studs, so the panels float above the floor.

• Open floor: easy to vacuum or mop under, and the room feels bigger.
• No baseboard problems: panels hang above the baseboard, so there is nothing to cut around.
• Needs a solid wall: the rails must go into studs. Plaster or very uneven walls can make installation harder.
• Lower starting price than our floor-standing closets.

Floor-standing closet systems

A floor-standing closet has full-height panels that sit on the floor and are secured to the wall at the top.

• Built-in look: it looks like real furniture or custom cabinetry.
• Very strong: the weight goes to the floor, which is great for heavy shelves, drawers and shoes.
• Works on most walls, including walls where studs are hard to find.
• Most popular with our customers. Most homeowners we work with choose floor standing.

Small reach-in closets

For reach-in closets between 48" and 69" wide, our Custom Small Reach-In Closet gives you shelves, hanging space or drawers sized for a smaller space.
